If changes are allowed on a tour or activity, a $20.00 per reservation change fee will be applied for any change to a reservation. Please note that some tours and activities do not allow any changes. Date changes can only be made only if we can confirm availability on the new date. While we cannot guarantee any changes can be made, all change requests must be submitted a minimum of 24 hours prior to the tour departure and must be handled on an individual basis through our Reservations Center.

Our Deluxe tour includes a brief visit to one of our fine local wineries - Buena Vista, Gundlach Bunschu or Ravenswood. There's also a stop at one of Sonoma's two best-kept secrets - either the Vella Cheese Factory for some cheese tasting and to learn about their three generation old cheese making process, or at Nonna's Eastside Market. After seeing a number of the most scenic parts of Sonoma, we'll pause at General Vallejo's Home - one of the famous historic sites in Sonoma. Your deluxe tour will end downtown after over three hours and eight miles aboard the Segway!

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:

~~ Is a security deposit needed to take the tour?
Yes, when you arrive you will need to provide a credit card for a $300 security deposit. This will not be charged to your card (unless you return the Segway broken or damaged), but you do need to have enough available credit on your debit or credit card for $300 PER MACHINE. (Please note that we do not store the credit card information you use to purchase your tickets, so you will need to bring your credit card with you to the tour to handle this authorization.)

How old must I be to take a Segway tour?
All Segway riders must be at least 12 years of age to participate in the tour. Riders 12 years to 18 years must have a parent sign a waiver and participate in the tour with them.

What are the weight constraints to ride a Segway?
All Segway riders must be above 100lbs and below 250lbs.

What happens if it rains?
Tours run in heavy fog and mist. Please dress appropriately for the weather conditions. We do not run in heavy rain. We may cancel the tour in case of severe weather, and you will be able to reschedule at your convenience or receive a credit for a future tour.

Is it hard to ride a Segway? What if I've never ridden a Segway before?
The Segway HT requires no special skills (it takes care of the balancing-on-two-wheels part) and virtually anyone can use one. In addition to the ingenious technology, our tours include a thorough safety and gliding training course given by one of our certified Segway instructors prior to departure.

Are cameras allowed on the tour?
Absolutely! Definitely bring your camera or videocamera to capture Sonoma's picturesque beauty - not to mention the sight of yourself on a Segway! There will also be high resolution photos of your tour for purchase after the tour.

Are restrooms available on the tour?
Yes, there is a restroom in the area where we train and several available restroom stops along the way.

Can I bring children on the tour?
We love children. Unfortunately, children under the age of 12 are not allowed on the tour.

Does this tour have anything to offer a local?
Absolutely! Many locals come on our tour for the sheer enjoyment of seeing Sonoma through new eyes via a Segway. It's a new and unique way to see the sights with which they may already be familiar, and it's also a treat for locals to bring their out-of-town guests to enjoy.

Are any beverages or snacks included in the tour?
No, beverages and snacks are not included in the tour. However, we will be making stops at one or more wineries and at a cheese factory, where you will be able to purchase food and beverages on your own. At the cheese factory, a complementary cheese tasting is included.

Are we on the Segways the whole time?
No, we stop at a cheese factory and at least one winery. We spend about 15 minutes at each stop.

Is there room on the Segway to store anything I choose to purchase while on the tour?
Yes, each Segway has an attached bag to carry your purchases.

Can I bring my pet on the tour?
We love pets! Unfortunately, pets of any kind are not allowed on this tour.

Do we taste wine when we stop at the wineries?
No, since we are driving, we don't actually taste wine. However, all riders age 21 and up may receive a complementary bottle of wine, and you will have the chance to purchase wine at the wineries as well. We will give you an insider's view of the wineries that will allow you to return to them on your own and enjoy them even more.
